Refund Policy

At Mayobook, we believe buying a book should feel exciting—not risky. Whether you're purchasing an eBook to start reading immediately or a beautifully printed paperback for your collection, we want you to order with complete confidence. Every purchase is backed by our Reader Happiness Guarantee. If something isn't right, we'll work with you to make it right—quickly, fairly, and respectfully. Our goal isn't simply to sell books. Digital Books (eBooks & Instant Downloads)

Digital books are delivered instantly after purchase and cannot be physically returned. For this reason, digital purchases are generally non-refundable once the download has been completed. However, we understand that genuine issues can happen. If you experience any of the following, please contact us within 14 days of your purchase:
  • You accidentally purchased the wrong eBook.
  • You were charged more than once for the same order.
  • Your eBook cannot be downloaded or accessed due to a technical issue.
  • You received the wrong digital product.
  • There was another problem with your order.
Every request is reviewed individually by our support team. Depending on the circumstances, we may provide:
  • A full refund
  • A replacement download
  • Store credit
  • Another fair solution that resolves the issue
If you're unsure whether a book is right for you, we encourage you to review the book description, table of contents, preview pages, and any available sample before purchasing. Our priority is always a fair outcome for both our readers and our authors.

Printed Books (Paperback & Hardcover)

We want you to love every printed book you receive from Mayobook. If your book arrives damaged, defective, incorrectly printed, or if you receive the wrong item, simply contact us within 30 days of delivery. We'll gladly make things right by offering, where appropriate:
  • A replacement copy
  • A full refund
  • Store credit
If the book simply wasn't what you expected, please contact us before returning it. We'll work with you to find the best solution. In many cases, a replacement, store credit, or refund can be arranged without unnecessary inconvenience.

Before Returning a Printed Book

Before sending any physical book back, please email us at info@mayobook.com. Our support team will review your request and provide the quickest, easiest solution. In many situations, a physical return may not even be necessary. Please do not return books to the manufacturer.

Return Conditions

If a return is required, printed books should be returned in good condition whenever reasonably possible. Books that have been intentionally damaged, heavily used beyond normal inspection, or altered after delivery may not qualify for a refund or replacement unless the issue resulted from our error.

Refund Processing

Once your request has been approved, refunds are processed to your original payment method. Depending on your payment provider or financial institution, refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, although some banks and credit card providers may require additional processing time. If you haven't received your refund after this period, we recommend:
  • Checking your bank or credit card account.
  • Contacting your payment provider.
  • Contacting your bank.

Sale Items

Books purchased during promotions or sales are covered by the same Reader Happiness Guarantee as regular-priced books. If there's a genuine issue with your purchase, we'll work with you to resolve it fairly.

Gifts

If your purchase was sent directly to you as a gift and qualifies for a refund or replacement, we'll help determine the most appropriate resolution based on the circumstances.

Shipping Costs

If a return is required because we sent the wrong book, the book arrived damaged, or there was a printing defect, Mayobook will take responsibility for resolving the issue. If a return is requested for other eligible reasons, return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

Likewise, to protect our readers, authors, and publishing partners, we reserve the right to decline refund requests involving fraudulent activity, repeated abuse of our guarantee, or other attempts to misuse our policies.
